Indicator Summary

American Indian/Alaska Native and White individuals are the most likely to live in areas with low rates of robbery with 62% and 61%, respectively, doing so.
Black, Hispanic, and Asian/Pacific Islander individuals are the least likely to live in areas with low robbery rates with 34%, 34% and 32%, respectively, doing so.
Three Western states (Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana) and three Northeastern states (Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine) are among the top ten states in which individuals are the most likely to live in counties with low robbery rates.
Four Southern states (District of Columbia, Maryland, Louisiana, and Florida) and four Western states (California, Nevada, Hawaii, and Arizona) are among the top ten states in which individuals are the least likely to live in counties with low robbery rates.
